Community Services Division
About Us
The Community Services Division (CSD) is a new branch of the Registry of Physician Specialists (RPS). CSD was created in 2009 to focus specifically on serving the needs of Community Clinics and Healthcare Centers in two different areas. First, we work with the Registry of Physician Specialists, a locum tenens Medical Corporation, to supply primary care and medical specialty and mental health professionals as needed and support their efforts. Second, we work closely with the Registry Foundation, a non-profit organization, to develop relevant education and outreach programs that promote strong leadership, best practices and compliant operations. Collaborative projects with the Registry Foundation include accredited continuing medical education courses, education and training programs, and consulting services. Our programs are developed, tailored and delivered to optimally serve our clients’ needs.
Our areas of expertise for our education, training and mentoring services cover Community Clinic Operations, Physician and Medical Professional Leadership, Community Board Awareness, Strategies and Training for Patient Compliance. In addition to these areas, the scope of our consulting services include Healthcare reform adoption and implementation, Classification as a Federally-Qualified Health Center, and Remodeling existent practices and organizations to fit the Medical Home and Accountable Care Organization models.
History
Distinctions in the operations and needs of community-based healthcare organizations prompted assignment of these staffing service activities to the Community Services Division (CSD). Our organization has more than 20 years of experience providing healthcare professionals and a dedicated, professional team of recruiters has built an extensive resource network that is available to CSD. We extend this experience and professionalism to our staffing efforts within CSD.
The unique education and training needs of community healthcare agencies prompted our use of the Registry Foundation’s experience and reputation for educational excellence. With a view to developing supporting programs that better address the specific needs and issues of community-based healthcare, we have begun to expand the Registry Foundation’s capabilities into new areas. These include: management and leadership training; Wellness Clinic operations, modifying; restructuring and reclassifying healthcare deliveries and care coordination. Our current projects include advising and assisting in the process of qualifying ongoing clinical operations to be classified as a Federally Qualified Health Clinic, with all rights and opportunities for access to associated federal and state funding.
What We Do
The Community Services Division provides primary care and specialty medical and mental health professionals for community-based healthcare. As always, we are diligent about providing high quality healthcare via customized, flexible staffing solutions to better match and supply healthcare practitioners. We achieve this by one-on-one interaction and continuing dialogue with our candidates to understand their competencies, expectations and strengths for working in the community healthcare environment. We give our clients this same degree of individual attention in order to fully appreciate their staffing needs and work culture. We take pride in the reputation RPS has earned for having consistently solid support systems and reliable operations.
We use our educational expertise to provide information, training, mentoring and advisory services focused on community healthcare in the following areas:
- Modifying, reclassifying and qualifying healthcare coordination and delivery services to align with healthcare reform, including restructuring to fit Patient-Centered Medical Home and Accountable Care Organization models.
- Physician education and leadership training with an emphasis on managing change in healthcare policy and process.
- Community Clinic Front Desk training for more efficient operation
- Community Board education and training to cover healthcare policy and healthcare operations.
- Medical professional training to improve Patient Compliance. Our capabilities include staging workshops (including accredited for CME), seminars, individual and group training. We offer consulting services to evaluate, advise and implement modified operations to support qualification and/or status reclassification of your organization.
Mission
We provide healthcare professionals, consulting services and education to meet the short- and long-term needs of community-based healthcare. Attention to individual needs, preferences and strengths are key elements of our successful staffing solutions for community healthcare organizations. We apply this approach to both our staffing and educational work by tailoring our resources and capabilities to address the needs and issues of this unique segment of healthcare community.
Vision
It is our belief that the importance and prevalence of community-based healthcare will increase in the near future and is very likely to become a key element of successful healthcare reform. We are prepared to support this segment of the healthcare community and facilitate its evolution to better service the increasingly complex healthcare market.
